The arena was built solely by family in the winter months of 2002- 2003. Willie's company, Absolute Geomatics, surveyed the property and created the initial site layout. Tim designed the layout of the arena and Terry, along with Jeff Ashmore (he's considered family), welded and crafted the chutes, pens and the mechanics, including most of the gates. Ralph is now on permanent dirt conditioning and maintainance duty. The arena officially opened on Labor Day of 2003.
